The computer generally hogs up about 50% of the the computer's RAM at all times (for reasons which I'm not sure of). If you're downloading anything, don't have any hopes of playing a game. Whenever I try to use the Steam OS cursor on these, it generally freezes or refuses to work properly. However, the actual main menu's for said games do not have support. Besides that, there are a lot of games which have nice controller support. About two out of five times I attempt to load a game with Steam OS (and controller) support, I have to completely restart the computer due to some sort of malfunction, such as freezing or not accepting controller input (tried with three different controllers which all worked on other devices).

I've managed to bypass the UI, however you're looking at a 5 minute start up time (compared to the instant windows 8 / steam OS load up that you might want). The Alpha UI is by far the slowest and glitchiest thing about this machine.

This is by far the most unresponsive machine I've ever seen. So, in terms of games, if you're only looking to play some simple games like Call of Duty or maybe an older Battlefield Game, maybe even L4D, this could do it for you. You can access any game that exists, yet no one other than steam will ever give you support on your games. This is true, but the computer does feature a Desktop mode. I attempted to reach out to some of the community members and official support from the various games I've played and they all gave me the same response: 'We can't help you because it's a Steam Machine and it doesn't support our game'. As you can imagine, Elder Scrolls Online couldn't handle it either. Trying to play a game like SWTOR was impossible on the lowest settings. However as soon as you try to load up any open-world game, this machine cries.

Love Skyrim on Medium-High settings? This could do it. If all you intend to play is CS:GO or TF2, this could be for you. I only have the i3 version, the cheapest of the four versions. I knew it wouldn't be a top-of-the-line computer replacement, but I had hoped for a lot more. In February of this year, I purchased this device. I truly feel that anyone with as much ignorance as me could waste a lot of money on this, which is why I'd like to give them a fair warning. Note: I'm not super computer savvy nor did I write this just to tell every 'lulz over priced, don't buy this в™Ґв™Ґв™Ґв™Ґ'.
